TripleTree and SIIA Host Fall 2005 Software as a Service (SaaS) Webcast Series

TripleTree and the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) will sponsor the second annual 4-part Software as a Service (SaaS) webcast series beginning September 14, 2005. Recognizing that the primary challenges for SaaS companies are to build effective models and successfully market their solutions, TripleTree and the SIIA have organized a comprehensive webcast program that critically examines SaaS business models and long-term growth strategies.

Each of the one-hour webcasts will be led and moderated by TripleTree. Featured programs and panelists for the 2005 series include:

The investment and M&A environment within the software industry is again on the rise with the emergence of new VC funds and some high profile and high value acquisitions. While SaaS companies are attracting a lot of attention to the industry, how are they faring in this new environment? SaaS Liability: The Data Dilemma

Customers have legitimate concerns about data access, integrity, theft and ownership. Moreover, what happens to the data should the SaaS vendor go out of business or be acquired? This webcast will address these and other customer demands and how SaaS vendors are responding from a best-practices point of view.
