For the past 14 years, Scott has delivered a wide variety of strategic analysis and business development expertise to top technology firms. Having served both in operational, investment, and advisory roles during his career, Scott has built deep knowledge in IT operations and services delivery approaches including: utility computing; heterogeneous data center operations; storage infrastructures; telecommunications and wireless operations management/OSS; and service-oriented architectures.

Most recently, Scott was vice president and lead analyst at Tier1 Research, a Wall Street independent research provider focusing on IT infrastructure where he demonstrated thought leadership and provided technical and financial analysis on a wide range of companies including buy/sell recommendations on over 25 top public software firms. Prior experience includes both work in venture capital focused on driving investments in technology and telecommunications services and in operational and management roles at start-up and leading technology firms including a subsidiary of ADC Telecommunications.

Scott earned his B.A. in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and his M.B.A. with Distinction from the University of Michigan.
