Michael Kessler joins TripleTree with over 20 years of invest-ment banking experience. He began his corporate finance and merger and acquisition career with New York-based Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. in 1986. In 1992, he moved to Minneapolis to join Wessels, Arnold & Henderson as a Partner responsible for the firms Healthcare Group. He continued to
head the Healthcare Group following the acquisition of Wessels, Arnold & Henderson by Dain Rauscher Corporation in 1997 and again, following the acquisition of Dain Rauscher Corporation by the Royal Bank of Canada in 2001. Since 2002 Michael has been a Managing Member of Pilot Advisors, LLC and has provided corporate finance consulting and advisory services to selected clients in the Midwest.

Michael earned his M.B.A. from Columbia University School of Business, his B.A. from St. John’s College in Annapolis, MD and served active duty in the United States Marine Corp. He is a prior member of the UnitedHealth Foundation Board.
