Jacob Schafer is an Analyst at TripleTree focused on supporting the firm’s M&A and strategic advisory services. Additional responsibilities include industry and financial analysis and market research.
Prior to TripleTree, Jacob was a Complex Securities Valuation Analyst at Deloitte where he assessed fair market value of private equity derivatives. Before starting at Deloitte, Jacob was a Graduate Research Assistant at Boston College where he performed deep-learning sentiment analysis of retail consumer cognitive bias and developed credit equity models for underserved communities in Uganda.
Jacob earned an M.S. in Quantitative Finance from the Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Toledo.
