AbbVie (NYSE: ABBV) and Capstan Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company dedicated to advancing in vivo engineering of cells through RNA delivery using tLNPs, announced a definitive agreement under which AbbVie will acquire Capstan, including CPTX2309, a potential first-in-class in vivo tLNP anti-CD19 CAR-T therapy candidate, currently in Phase 1, in development for the treatment of B cell-mediated autoimmune diseases. Arcadia, a healthcare data platform, and Nordic Capital, a private equity investor in healthcare and technology, announced a strategic partnership where Nordic Capital will become the majority owner of Arcadia. Learn more about the acquisition here. 

Bond Clinic, a physician group comprised of more than 90 providers encompassing 28 specialties serving Winter Haven and the surrounding Florida communities, has officially joined AdventHealth, one of the largest faith-based health systems in the United States.  Click here for more on the acquisition.

Dotmatics, a provider of life science R&D software, has been acquired by Siemens, a multinational technology corporation. Closed at an enterprise value of $5.1 billion, the acquisition will expand Siemens’ product lifecycle management portfolio into the life sciences market. View the announcement here.
